๐ Part 2 - The conclusion to "50 Buildings, One Dashboard"
So before, we were talking about why security should be managed as one portfolio-wide program, not 50 little projects. ๐ข
Once you see it that way, you realize itโs bigger than just cameras. ๐
That same thinking applies to:
๐ Access control
๐ก๏ธ Smart sensors
๐ Low-voltage infrastructure
๐ถ Managed connectivity
The goal is to move away from isolated decisions and toward a standardized property technology strategy. ๐ก
Because once you standardize the management model:
โ
It's easier to support
โ
Easier to train staff
โ
Easier to grant access
โ
Easier to review incidents
โ
Easier to scale when you acquire new properties
Instead of asking "What system does this building use?"
You start asking "How does this building fit into our overall strategy?" ๐ค
So here's my question for you:
If something happened at ANY of your buildings tonight, could the right person pull the right footage quickly from wherever they are?
If the answer is no, the issue may not be the camera.
The issue may be the management model.
