Meet Hannah McFarland & hear her live on December 14 at In The Round: Huntsville (🔗 in comments)
In the tradition of country’s greatest songwriters, Hannah McFarland has a divine gift for bringing an unexpected beauty to moments of heartbreak. Since the arrival of her 2025 debut EP Broken Hearts, the Alabama native has achieved major milestones like making her Grand Ole Opry debut, landing on the lineups of leading festivals like Stagecoach 2026, being named a 2026 Artist to Watch by the Recording Academy/GRAMMYs, and appearing on Hits Daily Double’s New & Developing Artists round-up (joining the ranks of past honorees like Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton).
The daughter of a cowboy and a portrait artist, the Nashville-based musician took up guitar at age 15 and soon started opening for country superstars like Kelsea Ballerini and Travis Tritt, later inking a joint global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and The Core Publishing. After signing to The Core Records/Capitol Records, she made her major-label debut with “Hey Highway” (featured on SiriusXM The Highway’s On the Horizon) and delivered Broken Hearts to immediate acclaim from the likes of NPR’s All Songs Considered.
Hailed by Holler. as “one of country music’s quiet geniuses,” she’s recently made waves with a series of high-profile collaborations, including featuring on Riley Green’s “I Just Need You” and Brett Young’s “In Case You Didn’t Know 2.0,” and linking up with Chase Rice for her summer 2025 single “Foolin’.” Most recently, she joined Riley Green on his upcoming That’s Just Me project with the duet “Go Again,” which debuted at No. 2 on the iTunes Country Songs Chart and No. 3 on the iTunes All-Genre Songs Chart, marking another breakout moment in her rapidly rising career.
An increasingly in-demand live act, McFarland has taken the stage at festivals across the country and toured with heavy-hitters like Tucker Wetmore, Kip Moore, Chase Rice, Ty Myers, Brett Young, and Riley Green, including opening for Green across the U.K. and Europe. Following arena dates supporting Green throughout 2026, she’ll kick off 2027 joining Ashley Cooke on the road while continuing to release new music that further establishes her as one of country music’s most compelling new voices.
