This happend just 4 days ago. I still here people say that we do not have a problem or they cant survive our winters. This animal proves that they are alive and thriving within our state!

Here's evidence persevering pays off. I hit this hog 3 days ago while chasing a group from across Ogemaw county. Chased it back North from Gladwin county. Stayed with his movements for two days it was too cold to run . Warmed up to 7 today, I went out and tracked him into a cattail swamp. Made sure he didn't leave. I Called my hunting partners to bring my dogs, we surrounded the marsh, was over in 30 minutes. 110 lb sow. Incidently , I hit it in the jaw with Henry 44 mag mares leg. Its days of rooting were over.
By the way, Kyle ended it for this pig, it would have starved with jaw like that. It was on the run and I led it to much. You're correct, there is plenty interest in hogs. People must understand it is not that easy without dogs, but it can be done.

Well, been working hard, been hardly working and enjoying every bit of it.
How is everybody else doing out there? have not received any new tips recently for Hog sightings so if there is anything out there please let me know!

Taking a drive up near Stark Rd and Baker Rd today. There is a birthday party and Cake! Going to keep my eyes open for wild pigs and bear, Oh My!!
