Executive Director – Tour Cayuga (CCCVB)
📍 Cayuga County, NY | 💼 Full-Time Leadership Role
Do you believe tourism can transform communities, drive economic growth, and tell powerful stories? 🌿🍷🎭 We're hiring a visionary Executive Director to lead Tour Cayuga, Cayuga County’s official tourism promotion agency!
As our next Executive Director, you'll:
✅ Oversee marketing, partnerships, and financial strategy
✅ Champion DEIA and sustainable tourism
✅ Elevate Cayuga County’s regional and national visibility
✅ Build strong relationships with local businesses & community leaders
✅ Lead the implementation of the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan
🔍 We're looking for someone with:
✔ Proven leadership in tourism, economic development, or marketing
✔ Strong strategic and financial management skills
✔ Experience with DEIA, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement
✔ Knowledge of Cayuga County/Finger Lakes Region is a plus!
🎓 Education & Experience Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in tourism, marketing, public administration, business, or a related field is strongly preferred
• A Master’s degree is a plus
• 7–10 years of senior-level leadership experience in tourism, destination marketing, or economic development may be considered in lieu of a degree, especially with a strong track record in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and organizational management
