I teased this knife a few weeks ago, it is finally available right now on the website!
This is a mosaic damascus steel integral petty chef knife I made! The unique pattern of steel was made with the help of my friend Jason Morrissey. The handle is made from a wood called Black Palm, with a polished copper spacer.
Definitely a show piece and I am pretty proud of this one.
I have 4 kitchen knives available on the website right now, get them before they're gone!

I haven't posted any of my work in far too long! I ended up taking a break from knife making for awhile. I took up a job doing custom metal fabrication, I learned quite a lot while I was there although the environment at this company was terrible, I stuck it out to learn as much as I could. I will be publishing some of the work I did there soon, and I am planning on offering custom forged metalwork going forward.

I have a few knives I just put up for sale on my website! Two brand new friction folding knives, and 3 of my very popular file knives. I am back to full time knife making again, and currently focusing on finishing up a custom order and getting prepared for my big show The Common Ground Fair! I hope to see you all there.

I have actually slightly reduced the price of the friction folders compared to before. These knives can be found at: https://www.zayknives.com/shop/

I finished up the knife I took a video about the other day!
This blade is a forged 1084 high carbon steel bowie knife. This is considered a fighting knife with its sharpened back edge. 1/4 thick on the spine it is very sturdy, yet still nimble.
The handle is carved, and fluted walnut, with a copper spacer in-between the two carved handle sections.

The guard is forged mild steel, and features scrolls at the end of each quillion.

I am just coming out of knife maker slow season, so I have this knife for sale on the website right now, and priced pretty affordably for how much time I have into it.

This knife was my demonstration piece from my week long kitchen knife class at New England School of Metalwork. I had 4 great students that left with their very own hand made knife. I think it's a pretty cool thing to be able to create the tool you'll be using to cook dinner every night!
This 8 1/4 inch blade in up for sale on the website right now, visit https://www.zayknives.com/shop/
The handle is primarily made from stabilized maple I dyed black, with a stabilized birdseye maple ferrule, topped with polished Nickel Silver

Another new full tang utility knife plus kydex sheath is available on the shop right now as well!
