This is my guardian to my studio. (So far he has protected me without incident.) I enjoy having some of my fused glass plant stakes in the pot to help disguise my inability to grow much.
The tree is a pistachio tree we planted decades ago - without the knowledge that you need a male and female pistachio. Oops.

I’m enjoying my daily drawing time. It’s a good distraction.

It’s been a busy few days due to hanging out at the hospital for my mom. Fortunately she is improving. Having my sketchbook is a great distraction. This is part of my 75 day challenge for completing a drawing each day.

I’ve always been visually attracted to the tractor that is occupying our front driveway area. I’ve drawn it several times over the years. And of course I love our chickens. Today’s drawing ended up being the lonely hand sanitizer. It was so significant for several Covid years. Everyone carried one. Now it’s insignificant.
