Heavenly Lord, I pray for thee to open my eyes to the world and Your divine Law. Show me the path towards light and truth, and allow me not to obscure this with my own will. Grant me Your wisdom, to comprehend the world beyond my own wants, and give me Lord, courage. For in order to serve You I must first see, and after seeing You, I will finally be able to truly serve. Give me the strength and willingness to sacrifice my own life if it is in accordance with Your divine plan, and the foresight to understand where the plan shall take me. I ask that You listen to my humble prayer, Abba Father. Help me to vanquish my demons, Lord, strengthening my faith with each day. I have wandered off the path of righteousness, sometimes losing the path completely. You have carried me when I refused to walk and always directed me back to the path through Your love. I want to be more like You and Your son, Jesus Christ, and it is with this prayer that I hope to pledge my life debt to His sacrifice. In His holy name I pray, Amen.
