Food Entrepreneur Conference Annual conference for aspiring and start-up food entrepreneurs in Auburn, Alabama, coordinated by AU Food Systems Institute and Alabama Cooperative Ext.

Learn basic building blocks for any small business, such as how to find financing and how to market your product. Plus learn specifics for the food business, and break into groups to learn from Auburn University experts in specific areas. The two-day events includes lots of input from successful food entrepreneurs discussing their own experiences, and plenty of chances to network.

Alabama Extension's Food Safety Team would like to invite you to our Food Entrepreneur Conference! 🍅🍞🥗🥬

We will have inspiring stories from former entrepreneurs that have successfully entered the food industry. You will also learn what are Alabama Food Regulations and why they are in place. Food safety is our goal, so let us help you keep your business going with information on labeling, GMPs, self-audits and business strategies.

Alabama’s food entrepreneurs are positioned to capitalize on the nationwide trend to eat more locally sourced foods and locally produced products. With the state’s agricultural roots, food processing is a natural way to grow the state’s economy. Conference attendees will benefit from the knowledge and experience of presenters as well as having an opportunity to network with educators, regulators, and other entrepreneurs.
