Providing services to non-profit environmental organizations

My career path in technical and environmental fields has included work in the consulting world, for academic institutions, and a quasi governmental organization. Assisting lake associations and managing an international invasive species collaborative have been recent activities. I have enjoyed working directly with stakeholders, lay people, researchers, scientists, engineers and government personn

el. My experiences have provided me with a greater understanding of the needs and challenges facing planners, decision makers, managers and stakeholders providing much of the impetus to form my company, Resource Interpretations. Focusing largely on the non-profit sector, I provide project management and facilitation services, technical support, writing, and assistance to those that may be wrestling with environmental concepts, requirements and directions.

Water Quality Patterns in Cayuga Lake: Looking Backward, Forward, and Upstream
Dr. Dave Matthews, Upstate Freshwater Institute
Lakes are dynamic ecosystems influenced by a variety of factors, including weather, climate, invasive species, and human activities in the watershed. Water quality responses to these factors may be manifested at scales ranging from individual docks to entire watersheds and from hours to decades. In this presentation we will explore spatial and temporal water quality patterns using monitoring data from Cayuga Lake and its tributaries.
