Congratulations to the Hoosier State Chapter of the Appraisal Institute on the successful passage of this important legislation protecting the interests of appraisers throughout Indiana.
Special recognition goes to Shelley Smaltz, MAI, SRA, AI-GRS, whose leadership was instrumental in advancing this effort. She worked closely with legislators in developing the bill language, engaged Scott DiBiasio of the Appraisal Institute to provide testimony at the Statehouse, organized a legislative advocacy day for chapter members, and dedicated significant behind-the-scenes effort to ensure the billβs successful passage into law.
Her commitment and leadership have made a meaningful impact on the profession in Indiana. We are very proud of her leadership.
