After three years, we’re officially opening our doors on Facebook and accepting applications for our teen program!

Our team is growing: some teens are graduating from the program, and new teens are getting ready to join us. We’re welcoming applications now!

This yearlong program runs from January through December and supports teens in personal development through workshops, resources, field trips, and more. We use our “Your Growth Plan” personal development workbook, which has been a great success with schools in Camden County. Together, we explore topics such as self-awareness, self-esteem, and building confidence and personal growth. The year concludes with an award ceremony celebrating each teen for showing up for themselves and their growth.

We’re accepting applications for teens ages 12–17. If you’re interested in signing up your teen, comment “Interested” below, and a member of our staff will contact you and email you an application.

Parents if you’re interested, we can also schedule a private tour. You’ll have a chance to see our program space and share any questions, concerns, or goals you’d like us to focus on with your teen. I look forward to sharing more about the program and answering your questions.

It’s that time of year again, we’re preparing for our Annual Thanksgiving outreach, where we provide meals and groceries to more than 100 people in our community.

We’re currently collecting rice, turkeys, bottled water, and dessert boxes of cakes. We’re also inviting small business owners to partner with us and help make this year’s outreach a success. Last year was truly special: we shared photos of the day and were able to bring groceries to many families and individuals in need.

We’re looking for volunteers to join us as we deliver groceries and serve people in the community. If you’d like to volunteer, please comment “Volunteer”below.

Small business owners who would like to donate food, contribute financially, or sponsor an item can contact Judith Diaz or La C Carter & Siani Carter to coordinate. Every partnering business will have its logo featured on our flyer, which will be shared across our social media platforms, and will be acknowledged for its support.

This is the official announcement of our “Becoming Us” Teens Anthology, created through Your Growth Plan Workshop.

At the start of the year, we planned a full schedule of resources and activities for our teens, including health and mental-health education, personal development, games, community communication, the arts, life experiences, and essential life skills. One of my goals was to give the teens an opportunity to share their own voices and tell any story they wanted in their own way.

Although not everything happened exactly as originally planned, this meaningful vision has come to life. B.A.L.M Global will be publishing our teens’ anthology, and I want to express my sincere gratitude for showing up at the last minute, supporting the process, and helped make this opportunity possible.

This anthology is truly, truly dear to the hearts of our teens. Each story represents their experiences, perspectives, and courage. We are officially excited to announce that the anthology will launch by December 2026 and preorders are available now for $15. All funds go to our teen's program.

This month, we recognize Su***de Prevention Month a time to remind every person that their life matters, their voice matters, and they do not have to face difficult moments alone.

At Say It Out Loud Jiji, we believe personal development begins with connection, self-awareness, emotional wellness, and the courage to speak honestly about what we are experiencing. Sometimes, saying it out loud is the first step toward receiving support, finding clarity, and moving forward.

You are important. Your story matters. Your presence makes a difference, even when pain makes it difficult to see. You do not have to have everything figured out, and asking for help is not a weakness, it is an act of strength.

Say It Out Loud Jiji is here for you and with you as you continue growing, healing, and discovering your purpose. Through encouragement, coaching, mentoring, emotional-wellness tools, and meaningful community connection, we are creating a safe and supportive space where individuals, parents, professionals, young people, and families can develop personally and emotionally.

We are also excited to announce our upcoming “community focused on personal development” a space for honest conversations, practical resources, motivation, mentorship, and support. Yesterday was our first youth field trip of the year, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make it possible, especially those who supported our annual bingo fundraiser.

This is exactly what the funds raised through the bingo help provide: meaningful experiences for our youth. During their first trip of the year, they had the opportunity to enjoy themselves while also learning about teamwork, communication, cooperation, and the value of creating memories together.

As many of you know, and others may not, this year has been especially difficult because of the loss we have experienced within our teens. That is why moments like yesterday are so meaningful. Our youth remind us that, even in the midst of grief, we must make space for joy, remain present, and appreciate the precious moments we are given.

With a truly grateful heart, I want to thank everyone who contributed, supported, volunteered, and played a part in making this experience possible. Your support is making a real difference in the lives of our youth.
