The Manufacturing Planner must be able to create manufacturing, process, and quality plans and bill of materials based on customer blue prints and specifications. Planner will possess ability to manage and coordinate with Quality, Materials, Engineering, Manufacturing functions. Planner will be creating manufacturing plans thorough understanding manufacturing practices, opportunities, and limitations to determine the most efficient methods for production.

Responsibilities:

· Plan manufacturing jobs through the complete manufacturing process

· Ensure traveler details are clearly defined

· Provide support and resolve technical problems as the arise

· Timely review, validation, incorporation of changes or updates into electronic and paper travelers to support manufacturing schedules

· Implements continuous improvement opportunities

· Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

· Candidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.

· Candidates must have at least one (1) year of relevant experience in aerospace or general manufacturing.

· Candidates must have demonstrated experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, CAD models, and specifications.

· Candidates must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.

· Candidates must have demonstrated experience with the full Microsoft Office suite and general computer skills.

First Article Inspection (FAI) Planning.
Aerospace planning.
Reading and interpreting quality documents and customer specs.

D-J Extruding is expanding our Heat Treatment capabilities to include Steel Heat Treatment and we are looking for a primary operator. The operator will be running one of the largest steel heat treatment pit furnaces in the area. Our furnace has a working zone of0indiameter x 10ft height and utilizes an endothermic gas generator to control atmospheric conditions within the furnace.

D-J Extruding has implemented several solutions to aid in the automation of the HT process as well as the safety of the operator. A dedicated crane was built to automate the transfer of the working basket during loading, quench, and rinse transfers. Additionally an automated ventilation safety system has been installed to mitigate risks to the operator associated with confined spaces and hazardous atmospheres.

Responsibilities:

Daily visual checks of equipment
Pyrometry testing requirements of AMS2750 (Rev F)
Performing monthly System Accuracy Tests (SAT)
Supporting quarterly, third-party performed, Temperature Uniformity Surveys (TUS)
Following job orders written to meet the requirements of the aerospace industry specifications (such as AMS2759/1)
May include minor surface preparation requirements and/or specific racking instructions
Coordinate periodic maintenance inspections of equipment with our maintenance department
Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma, GED or equivalent
1 years of experience working in a Heat Treatment facility
Able to move 35lbs by hand
Other Qualifications:

Preference shown to candidates who have experience and/or working knowledge of:

AMS2750 (Pyrometry)
AMS2759/1 (Heat Treatment of Carbon and Low-Alloy Steel Parts, < 220 KSI)
Fork-Lift experience
