Beware local urbandale/ Battle Creek family owned stores!!!!! Please share.

These criminals got dropped off at Urbandale Hardware this evening so that they could fill their pockets and run. The car they got dropped in left after sitting for 2 minutes. They stole hundreds of dollars worth of product in ten minutes before running towards Bedford road. The car went onto W. Michigan and assumingly picked them up from wherever they ran to- behind the store in the neighborhoods of Spaulding, Kellogg St, etc.

Small, family owned businesses are what keep our city alive and the fact that people decide to treat them like this never fails to amaze me. It’s disgusting.

Help us catch them!!!!
If you know these people, please let them know that they are never allowed back into Urbandale Hardware or any other local business for that matter because we will be plastering their faces everywhere. I hope it was worth it for them!

Friends and clients,

This letter comes with so much gratitude for all of you. I feel so priviledged to have had the opportunity to work with all of you, and becoming friends with many of you. I don’t have to tell you how hard the last seven months have been for all of us. So much has changed, and we have to have faith that God has a bigger plan for all of us.

Askler, Fitch, and Associates has not been onsite with a client since March of this year, that means there has been no revenue, and after speaking with many clients, it doesn’t look like they will be able to offer onsite training this year, and well into next year. It is gut wrenching, and it hurts my heart but there are no options for us right now, and we are closing. It’s been a fun ride for the last 18 years, thank you for sharing it with us and supporting us.

What’s next for us? Ralph is officially going to retire! He’s been threatening me for years with it, Ha ha and now it’s time for him. I see Winters in a warmer climate for him. 😊 Me? I am trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up. If you have any ideas, I am all ears.

We wish you all much success, and happiness.. There are no goodbyes…only….until we meet again!

As I remember those who have sacrificed everything to give us freedom during this extraordinary time when we all feel somewhat captive, I can’t help but be grateful…oh so grateful..for FREEDOM! Henry David Thoreau said, “The English did not come to America from a mere love of adventure, nor to truck with or convert the savages, nor to hold offices under the crown…but to live in earnest and with freedom.”

Freedom. It’s why I love this nation. We are more free than any place on earth, and that freedom—to say, to go, to create, to worship, to live—as we choose is what allows anyone in America to become anything they want to become! And one of many things that Covid 19 has taught us is that freedom matters.

So on this special Memorial Day weekend, Thank you to all those who have given so much, including everything, to keep us FREE. You are heroes!
