Today was a beautiful Grow with Joy moment. 🌱

I had the honor of being an invited guest speaker at the Azalea Garden Club meeting held at the Country Club, thanks to the gracious invitation of President Linda Williams.

This opportunity was special for many reasons. It was my first time speaking to the ladies of the Azalea Garden Club and my first invitation to the Country Club. I was able to share the story of Belle Terrace Community Garden — how a garden can grow food, faith, youth, service, and community all in one space.

I brought along a few simple garden props — seeds, gloves, a hand rake, hand shovel, scoop, and watering can — each one representing a piece of what it takes to grow something meaningful: vision, service, preparation, sharing, and consistency.

As I continue this work, I am reminded that agriculture opens doors, builds bridges, and creates conversations in rooms I once only imagined entering.

SEEDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT🌱

GROWTH takes PATIENCE!
Before anything blooms, somebody has to be willing to get close to the soil, make room, and tend to what’s been planted.

DON’T despise the small beginnings. 
EVERY strong harvest starts with
