So today, nearing the end of my shift (I’m a social worker), I had one woman pouring her heart out to me , but another family came into the building after a walk in the gorgeous sunshine we had today. The cutest little blondie looked up to me with what I believed was terror? Her grandma said, she is right there. The little girl came up to me and offered me a beautiful gift, and it honestly made my day. A flower. It is spring, and I have seen a few leaves budding out, but not a flower yet. Just the way she gave it to me was so heart warming, she just reached her arms out. Children are so loving.
