Exciting news - a new peer-reviewed scientific publication based on a human clinical trial demonstrated vascular health benefits of PB125®!
In a double-blind, placebo-controlled human clinical trial, PB125® significantly improved blood vessel function in older adults after two weeks of supplementation. When a muscle disuse challenge was added, PB125® also blocked the negative vascular effects caused by disuse in both older subjects (challenged with 5 days of bedrest) and in younger subjects (challenged with two weeks of limb-immobilization). This study was conducted independently by researchers at the University of Utah, University of Alabama, and the Veterans Administration Medical Center. Primary support for the study came from the NIH and the VA.
This study helps validate our long-held observation that Nrf2 declines with age, and indirect supplements like PB125® that activates one's own body's production of Nrf2 as needed can be helpful in maintaining healthy aging.
