Most winter pest problems don't actually start in winter 🐭
By the time you spot a mouse running across the stockroom in January, chances are, it didn't exactly arrive that morning.
As temperatures start dropping, rodents begin looking for the same things we all want when it's cold outside: food, shelter, and a warm place to stay.
For a commercial building, that can mean taking advantage of surprisingly small gaps around doors, utility lines, loading areas, foundations, and other openings.
That's why fall is such an important time to look at your building before there's an obvious problem inside.
Are there gaps under exterior doors? Signs of activity around dumpsters or storage areas? Openings where utilities enter the building? Food or clutter providing an easy place to settle in?
