Let us design something special just for you! We do most of our own milling, and much of the wood has already been dried naturally before milling. We've also made items from standard woods, but reclaimed materials is our passion! It is amazing how many beautiful trees are grown in regional parks and yards. Sometimes those trees need to be cut down either because they are dying or are invasive spec

ies. For instance, Russian olive was planted originally to control winds, however it is an invasive species because it is very tolerant to the Colorado climate and uses a lot of water. Siberian elm has been plagued with the Dutch elm disease which has claimed so many other species of elm across the United States. Thus, due to various problems with invasive tree species, wide spread tree diseases, and beetle kill, there are many trees which must be cut down. Most of them are eventually chipped up and disposed of. Rather than have those trees end up in the land fill, we reclaim some of that beautiful wood, mill the logs, and re-purpose that gorgeous lumber into beautiful furniture pieces and other wood working items.
