Friends- one of my battle buddies, Javier, lost his father a couple of weeks ago. While returning home from his father's funeral he received news that his mother had passed.
Javier and I served together for 4 years and were deployed numerous times together including as UN Peacekeepers during the Balkan Wars. He is a true American Hero.
Now, his family is facing the cost of a 2nd unexpected funeral for his dear mother. Because of the high cost of funerals a fund has been set up to assist the family.
