Whole Foods is coming to Central Park!? I just read the article below on "BusinessDen".
Exciting news for the neighborhood! (Full disclosure: We have no idea where this project is in the development cycle and you can't count on these things until they're done!)

"Whole Foods is planning a store off Interstate 70 in Denver’s Central Park.
Plans have been submitted to the city for a 40,000-square-foot grocery store at the southwest corner of Central Park Boulevard and 40th Avenue.
The space will be occupied by Whole Foods, according to marketing materials prepared by David Hicks & Lampert Brokerage and obtained by BusinessDen. The brokerage is looking to fill another 18,600 square feet of retail space in smaller buildings that will be located near Whole Foods.
Whole Foods didn’t respond to a request for comment.
The land, currently undeveloped, is owned by Brookfield Residential, which bought former Stapleton Airport master developer Forest Realty in 2018.
The marketing materials bear the logo of Greenwood Village-based Alberta Development, indicating that firm would develop the Whole Foods building.
Alberta founder Don Provost declined to comment. His firm is also pursuing a project in Greenwood Village that has been linked to Whole Foods.
Whole Foods does not currently have any stores in the northeast part of Denver. The closest stores are in Glendale, Cherry Creek and next to Union Station.
The Central Park grocery scene consists of a Sprouts at the corner of Central Park Boulevard and 35th, a Natural Grocers at Central Park and 32nd and two King Soopers stores on the neighborhood’s east and west ends.
The site of the planned store is just south of a three-story office building that houses the headquarters of Colorado Credit Union. It opened in 2023."
