I've spent a lot of time trying to remember how and when I learned Excel. Apparently I must have blocked it out 🥴⁠

I plan on creating some new Excel tutorials and could use some feedback on what makes it so overwhelming to get started. ⁠

2021 was... a whirlwind. To say the least. 😅⁠
⁠
And many other things! ⁠
⁠
This year I lived in CO for a month to give my pups the full snow and mountain experience🗻 , got to spend time with my fully vaccinated family, had many personal adventures in Austin🌮, found out my pup, Heath, had cancer (and fully recovered!), celebrated BOTH my siblings weddings👰🏻, felt lost professionally, experienced burn out/creatively blocked, made new memories with friends👯‍♀️, serious stress about covid, AND THEN decided on a big move🗽. ⁠

If 2021 has taught me anything, it's to make the most of the opportunities 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚, stay present to the good and bad moments, keep learning, and be open to change!⁠⁠⁠

This was something that took me a while to learn myself! 🤭⁠

Not everyone learns in the same way. ⁠💕⁠
⁠
Our brains work differently (duh), so it isn't always the same path for people to get to the 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 of knowledge. ⁠
⁠
I know for me in school, I would semi pay attention in class and take notes 🖊️ but would fully digest and understand the information after reading the textbook and going through exercises. ⁠
⁠
I also have a really difficult time learning anything that doesn't have some sort of real world context connected to it. (Mostly a focus problem - completely uninterested) 🤐 .⁠
⁠
These were some of the reasons we wanted to create new tutorials with others given the flexibility to explain concepts how *they* think about it. ⁠⁠⁠

Their 2020 survey breaks down stressors negatively affecting LGBTQ mental health and well being (physical violence, verbal abuse, discrimination, housing instability, and not respecting their sexual or gender identity).⁠⁠

• The rate of LGBTQ youth who attempts su***de 𝒅𝒐𝒖𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒔 if someone attempted to convince them to change their sexual orientation or gender identity.⁠⁠

• 40% of LGBTQ youth were physically threatened or harmed due to their gender identity.⁠⁠

• Only 1 in 5 transgender or non-binary youth report having their pronouns respected by all or most of the people in their lives.⁠⁠
