For most people means starting a new work week. Unfortunately too many spend energy dreading this day, focused on what they âhave to doâ and longing for the weekend when they donât âhave to doâ anything. Ironically they are spending part of that magical weekend time worried about the week ahead.
How different would Mondayâs be if instead we thought, âI GET to go to work today which allows me to ____â. Maybe it allows you to provide for your family or impact others or just buy a new pair of shoes but reminding yourself of what that job allows you to do can help shift your mindset.
Choosing to be grateful for the job you have, your ability to do it, and how it impacts your life is a habit you cultivate through practice.
I challenge you to discover why you are GRATEFUL for what you âhave to doâ and try instead to be thankful for what you âget to doâ.
