: 🚗 Getting around southeast Williamson County is getting a little easier thanks to a few projects.

Last week, we joined Williamson County, Texas - Government for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of the East Wilco Highway Segment 2 project. Segment 2 runs from CR 137 to CR 404 – which means drivers can now drive from SH 130 all the way to Samsung Highway.

Congressman Pete Sessions also announced $7 million in federal funding for Corridor A2, which will extend Samsung Highway from FM 973 to SH 95 (southeast of our Taylor campus).

With the continued economic growth in the region, these transportation infrastructure projects are making it safer for drivers while providing more route options.

We want to thank all the local, state and federal partners who have pushed for infrastructure improvements in the area.

Investing in the community is about more than just funding—it’s about ensuring that support reaches the people and programs that need it most. 🤝

That’s why we partner with the Greater Taylor Community Foundation to distribute $30,000 in community grants to 18 local nonprofit organizations serving Taylor and eastern Williamson County. By leveraging the organization’s hyperlocal expertise, we can ensure these funds provide direct, meaningful impact in areas like healthcare, youth development, housing stability and more.

Congratulations to all the grant recipients! Together, we are supporting the diverse needs of our neighbors and investing in the long-term growth of Taylor! ✨
