Workrise is hiring for a Civil Foreman to manage civil work on a utility scale solar project in Farnham, VA.
Pay Rate: $30/hr
Per Diem: $80.00 Per work day
Responsibilities:
Communicate with management and members of all teams involved in a project including shipping, logistics, accounting, subcontractors, and owners
Manages all sub-contractors for timely completion and quality
Takes responsibility for overall project supervision
Directs and supervises field personnel with daily schedules including people, equipment, materials, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.
Manages reports such as collecting and entering daily quantities, crew time, equipment hours, and compares to budgets and job cost reports.
Read, interpret and understand all project documentation such as zoning and permitting requirements.
Document delays/changes; sets up staging areas as needed
Maintain and monitor quality standards
Acts as a trouble shooter on projects
Assures compliance with Company safety policies and OSHA and/or MSHA safety standards
Requirements:
OSHA 30 Certification Required
Supervisory experience in civil field
Experience working on 75 MW+ Solar Projects
Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work
High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic.
Strong organizational, follow-through, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency with reading blueprints, plans, specs, contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
Highly focused, organized, motivated & passionate individual
