KXAN recently took a closer look at the rainwater system at the Campsite at Shield Ranch and the work that went into becoming Texas’ first public water system supplied entirely by rainwater.

We were fortunate to play a small part in that story, supplying several tanks used throughout the system for rainwater collection and storage.

Projects like this are a great example of what rainwater harvesting can look like when it’s considered as part of the infrastructure from the very beginning.

We're excited to showcase this custom rainwater harvesting project for Alterman, Inc.!

This installation is a prime example of a rainwater harvesting system that elevates everything it touches. Featuring a custom roof extension, aqueduct-style water conveyance system, and custom-engineered structural supports, it came together as a truly one-of-a-kind project we'll be talking about for years to come.

A big shoutout to Rialto Studio, Inc. and all of the incredible collaborators who helped bring this vision to life.

Project Spotlight: Electric Central Utility Plant at DFW Airport ✈️💧

We’re proud to support DFW Airport’s journey to Net Zero Carbon by 2030 with a custom rainwater harvesting system designed for the new Electric Central Utility Plant (ECUP).

We engineered and installed a 32‑ft‑tall CorGal tank with a custom flat roof and duplex pump system—built to fit tight site constraints while maximizing performance. This system is already helping DFW reduce potable water use, lower emissions, and boost long‑term energy resilience.

Our crew captured a short time-lapse while hanging the liner on a tank in the DFW area, and trust us, it was no small feat.
