San Jac is doing great things to prepare for the workforce of tomorrow. Proceeds from the gala go to support the Promise @ San Jac Scholarship, providing debt-free tuition, books, and supplies for eligible in-district high school graduates.

We love the Houston Ship Channel and Port Houston Region. We’re glad that others had the chance to learn more about the HSC and the Houston Pilots. Fun facts: 60 ships a day move in the Channel, which is a ship every 20 minutes. Our Port is bigger than New York and LA Ports combined. The Houston Pilots Dispatch receives 500 calls a day.

coordinated a fantastic Coffee this morning with the Presiding Officer, Captain Clint Winegar, Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia, and Representative Mary Ann Perez. The Houston Pilots hosted the event at their offices and wonderful discussion on our economy, infrastructure, and education happened between the panelists. Our Port Region is a gem for all of us to be so proud.
