Wrapped the 2026 Rancho Alegre Music Festival last weekend. I believe I've attended all 11 years and stage managed at least 7 or 8. For 6 months I've been working alongside Jen Spencer to curate a very intentional gathering of neighbors, friends, and businesses. I've helped book some amazing performers and worked with venues to create a progressive festival that will leave you loving Austin (if you don't already!)

Thank you to the huge team working with us! Come out to the first ever Manor Road May Day Festival this Saturday.

Spring events season is upon us! Especially in the Austin area. Excited for two great events I'm helping produce:
- Dance Africa Fest's Rhythm Routes 2026: Exploring Dance Traditions of the African Diaspora on April 25
- Manor Road ATX first ever Manor Road May Day Festival on May 2
Both are very community-centric and affordable. Please check them out and keep tied to community in this time. Much love!
Also thank you to my colleague Ruby Lopez Harper for having me as a guest lecturer recently for her class at George Mason University in the Arts Management Program. I wish UT had a program like that 20+ years ago when I was searching. I had a great conversation with students about Youth Programming.
