Technology, Exploration & Career Center West (AV Production)-

The Radio Broadcast area provides students the opportunity to learn real life radio stills for live on-air broadcasting. The suite also allows students to create audio podcasts for post-production work. It features a trusted preamp, industry standard microphones, and a radio console with automation software to allow students to broadcast with ease.

Classical nonprofit music station KMFA (Austin) has just opened their new 18,000 sq. ft. home. BAI served as acoustical consultants for the facility, which includes a performance venue, broadcast facilities, and educational spaces. KMFA will host more than 60 events each year, with a projected annual visitor count of 10,000 . KMFA is a community funded public service radio station, serving 100,000 listeners each week with 24/7 classical music programming on-aid and streaming. https://www.dearmusic.org/our-new-home
