Most manufacturers see safety as a line item to minimize.
We see it as a competitive edge.
Our founder, Russell Carr, learned that the hard way. Before starting this company, he owned an energy services business that got a surprise OSHA inspection. It failed. He wrote a check to the U.S. Department of Treasury and felt embarrassed, not angry — embarrassed that he hadn't kept up, and ashamed that he'd put his own employees at risk without knowing it.
That experience is why we started Berg Compliance Solutions in 2013. We help small and mid-sized Texas manufacturers and general contractors build real OSHA and EPA compliance programs, not a 200-page binder that sits on a shelf, but a system that actually gets used.
Here's what we've seen over and over: safety done right isn't a cost center. It wins contracts that require a documented program. It helps attract and keep good employees. It brings insurance costs down instead of up.
Cost center, or competitive advantage? We'd genuinely like to know where you land.
