​"Post college I dabbled in Crossfit for a while, even getting my L1 and coaching for a couple of years before I finally found the beautiful sport of Obstacle Course Racing. OCR is where I finally felt at home, and where a varied sport background gave me many tools to draw from.

I discovered OCR in 2016 when I tried my first Spartan Race, the Las Vegas Super, which I had signed up for simply to have a new challenge. I finished 6th place for the elite women, and after that I have the typical obstacle racing junkie’s story of becoming hooked, and continued to sign up for more and more races, and began devoting many hours of training to improve on my weaknesses.

Since then I have slowly been growing in OCR and have continued to compete and focus on the US National Series, where I have continued to always place in the top ten, even finding the podium at Utah in 2018, and 2 other top 5 finishes in the 2019 series. The US National Series is my favorite since all the top athletes from the US and Canada participate, and the competition is always at the highest."

​"|2•0•1•9| The first year in as long as I can remember where the good outweighed the bad . At the beginning of the year one of my goals was to have a better mindset with everything I’d face throughout the year and let me tell you - it made all the difference in the world. For the first time in my life Im actually sad to have such an incredible year end, but at the same time excited to see what 2020 will bring! . .

Looking back I consider myself so lucky for what this past year consisted of. I bought my first home 🏡 AND got engaged to the love of my life 🥰 I was able to adopt two puppies and give them a life filled with love and adventures 🐶💕Spent my birthday visiting my best friend in Virginia👯‍♀️, Fed a giraffe 🦒 (!!) Earned 2nd place overall female in the Stadion Series battling against some very talented ladies🥈🏟 And ended the year being able to celebrate the holidays with family ❤️ . .

It’s going to be a challenge for me to try and top all of this, but I’ve got some B.I.G. plans for 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ and I’m ALWAYS up for a challenge 😈 . . ✨BRING ON THE NEW YEAR✨
