Austin just got a little closer to Paris. 🇫🇷✈️ Excited to finally see Delta announce Austin’s first-ever nonstop service to Paris (CDG), beginning March 27, 2027.

As a travel advisor, I know how many clients have asked for a direct option between Austin and one of Europe’s most iconic cities. Eliminating the connection will make Paris—and onward destinations throughout France and Europe—more accessible than ever for Central Texas travelers.

La Residencia, A Belmond Hotel is a dream 💭

Rosewood by any other name would be as Suite 💐

One of the coolest details about Hôtel de Crillon is that Marie Antoinette is believed to have taken private piano lessons there when the building was still an 18th-century aristocratic residence — long before it became a luxury hotel. Today, the hotel even has a “Suite Marie-Antoinette” and a “Salon Marie-Antoinette” honoring that history.

What makes it even more surreal is the location: the hotel overlooks Place de la Concorde, where Marie Antoinette was later executed during the French Revolution. So the same building connected to her royal life also stood overlooking the square tied to her death — a pretty extraordinary overlap of Parisian history.
