We think they both have their place, but we definitely decide on concrete planters 99.9% of the time, especially when in Texas heat. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Ahhh yes, the beauty of a tillandsia xerographica.... or in other words an awesome little, but can grow to be big, airplant. Airplants are awesome in the fact that they take very little maintenance and make a big statement in your space. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If they die because you just had to have them on the back cashwrap with no light but that was that perfect spot , don’t you worry. We got you. I have a story for you about my love of cacti. 🌵

Growing up my dad always has a garden of some sort. He was always teaching us about nature, wildlife, Texas natural areas, and anything that would give us a greater appreciation for the world we lived in.

Fast forward 10 years- my mom and dad are moving to central texas (a dream they have had for awhile) and my dad started researching the native landscape and animal life. Because there are so many native cacti being endangered due to construction, he has started growing endangered cacti species from seedlings to help repopulate them once they officially move here.

Pretty cool, huh? Gotta love when your dad is not only a typical for , but also a hero for the natural wildlife.
