With the new year upon us, we have the opportunity for self-reflection.
What have we achieved, what have we forgotten, what what we lost.
But it's in each moment that we have the power and responsibility to choose.
We can choose a life and world of more joy, love, acceptance... Or the alternative.
We must first find that joy, love, and acceptance within ourselves before we seek it elsewhere.
If you're experiencing anxiety or unrest inside yourself, take a moment to pause, breathe, say "thank you" and appreciate something or something.
It could be as simple as the fact you draw breath, or the electricity is on. By focusing on what you have and feeling grateful for it, you release the other stuff that might be going on at the time.
Close your eyes, breathe in, say "thank you" and be an example to others.
