Thanks to Panorama Education for allowing me to join them in Salt Lake City to attend the Education Commission of the States. I appreciated the opportunity to discuss the issue of chronic absenteeism. Texas was well represented with legislators, capitol staff and TEA in attendance.

Yesterday was a great day for the Texas ABA Public Policy Group Day at the Capitol. We were able to meet with legislators and staffers to support their legislative priorities. I'm proud to represent this great organization at the Texas State Capitol.

Took a road trip to New Braunfels to celebrate National Manufacturing Month! Texas State Technical College and TX FAME Lone Star Chapter welcomed guests to celebrate the opportunities and advancements that manufacturing brings to Texas. It was great to see Senator Donna Campbell.

I was invited to speak on the education trends in the US at the Association of Test Publishers Conference Europe in Vienna. It was great meeting new folks and hear the international perspective on education. Plus, enjoyed visiting this beautiful city.
