Although this page has been inactive for a few years, Kathy McCleskey and I are still working together as Long and Short Associates. In fact, we just completed a Lunch and Learn volunteer management series at Nonprofit Austin at ACC. We hope to hold our four-day Certificate in Volunteer Engagement at Austin Community College this fall.

WOW!!!

The value of a volunteer’s time hit an all-time high during 2018 at $25.43 an hour, up 3 percent from 2017. It’s an increase of 20.3 percent since 2008 when the rate was $20.25.
