AI search is changing how buyers first understand a company.
A buyer may now ask an AI tool what your company does before they ever reach your website.
The answer can come from your homepage, LinkedIn page, sales deck, case studies, old press releases, partner pages, review sites, or older blog posts.
If those materials don’t match, AI search won’t fix the story for you. It may describe the wrong version of the company.
That is why positioning and messaging consistency matters.
