Lylo Swim Club, the poolside bar and restaurant, is serving some seriously tasty fried chicken, musubi and poke bowls. Did you know that Central Texas farmers, ranchers and artisans produce this much variety? Here's a mostly local smorgasbord with lots of goodies we picked up this spring from the Texas Farmers' Market at Mueller: Bernhardts Farm cukes, Bouldin Food Forest carrots, Pure Luck Farm and Dairy chèvre, Belle Vie Farm & Kitchen duck rillettes, Johnson's Backyard Garden radishes, Good Vibes Urban Farm chipotle pesto, and The Sourdough Project sea salt crackers. Boule from Sour Duck Market. All served on an Edwood Studio cutting board.

Between the Upcountry Farmers' Market, Mana Foods, a chocolate and vanilla farm, and the Laulima Farm Fruit Stand in Maui and the KCC Farmers Market in Honolulu, I saw (and tasted) tropical fruits, locally grown and roasted coffee, and other obscure value-added food products.
