Apologies for the radio silence lately on social media, but between some illnesses running through the house and third trimester shenanigans… whew! Thank you everyone for the continued support! I’ve been so grateful to be quietly filling orders in the background. The shop will be closed majority of April and May. I’ll be offering a rare sale event before! Just a quick, neutral illustration to kick off 2026! Saw the trend and really wanted to get my creative flow going again! I have so many ideas just no time lately 😭 so here’s my contribution! It’s me, my purse, my diaper bag, and of course my iPad and Apple Pencil for Handwriting is still a work in progress 🥴 but overall I am actually really proud of this one. It’s a lot of things I normally don’t illustrate. Hope you guys like it!!

What a day yesterday! We travelled to Austin for my second LNY Festival (4th annual overall) hosted by Pei and Kathy . Last time I was here at the very first LNY festival, we were *literally* moved to tears with the sheer size of the crowd that came out to support Asian businesses and take part in our culture and traditions…

Somehow, this festival had an even bigger crowd to where I don’t think we had breathing room until late, late afternoon. Wow! Thank you everyone who came out and supported all the amazing artists, activity and food vendors, and performances. This has been one of my top 5 selling markets! Thank you everyone who stopped by my booth, shared with the very awesome Benh of You are such a vibrant, happy energy! It was also so good to also put faces to names of other vendors who I only have had an IG relationship with prior. I know these circles run small and I’m not always the most open person 😅 but thank you always for the acceptance regardless!

It was a lot for us to travel with baby in tow, but I can’t thank my parents enough for accompanying us to help watch Julian and involve him in all the festivities ❤️ how fun this is to be able to bring him in on all the traditions.

Ending 2024 with a new thing: animation! Woo woo! I really found a creative streak this last month and it was just about being intentional with making the time to draw in the evenings. I’m so excited to show you guys the new products I have lined up for 2025. I have some personal goals written down, however I’m still thinking about what I want to achieve business wise. Hello! ❤️ reintroducing myself here as a little ✨refresh✨ before the holidays really take off. My name is Gina and I am the owner of Ginably (Gina-blee) which is a riff off my own name and the word “imaginably”. I worked full time as a mechanical engineer for 8+ years while creating and growing my stationery business on the side. I started off only selling art prints and have now expanded into so much more!
In 2023, we welcomed our first child. I am fortunate (in my eyes) to be able to walk away from engineering and focus solely on my family and our son. The reality is in these photo slides; you can see the giant dip in online/wholesale/market sales. I stopped the hustle, stopped posting as much… and truth be told I’m still trying to balance everything. I feel beyond blessed for so many returning customers and shop owners despite of this. Thank you guys for the support and helping chase away the little nagging voices of doubt in my head.
Shockingly, I completed all 3 goals I made for Ginably at the beginning of this year 🥳 so here’s me holding myself accountable again (🤞). My goals are to put myself out there more (I’ve already signed up for two 2025 markets!), to create at least 3 new products (no specific type), and try to be a little more active on here. Cheers to 2025 🥂✨
