🌟 Highlights from IC3DTH in Vienna! 🌟

We’re delighted to look back on our participation at IC3DTH – The International Conference on 3D Technologies in Hospitals, which took place in Vienna on 28–29 November 2025.

👩‍🔬👩‍💻 Our presenters, and , were on-site showcasing our research poster, featuring key figures and visual snapshots from our latest work:

🔬 “Development of a Domain-Specific Language Model for Bioprocessing and Bone Tissue Engineering”

📊 Poster Highlights Included:

• A visual workflow of the domain-specific language model architecture

• Comparative performance figures vs. general-purpose LLMs

• A data-integration schema for bioprocessing and bone tissue engineering pipelines

• Example outputs demonstrating improved reproducibility and literature-grounded predictions

This work is a major outcome of the OSTEONET 🇪🇺 Marie-Curie Staff Exchange project, which aims to advance 3D in vitro bone tissue models and accelerate innovation in bone-disease research. The project brings together teams from , , , and .

💡 Our domain-specific language model marked an important step forward in integrating AI, bioprocessing, and tissue engineering — enabling smoother data flow, improved reproducibility, enhanced collaboration between computational and experimental groups, and stronger citation-supported bioengineering insights compared with general-purpose LLMs.

We were thrilled to share this work with the vibrant IC3DTH community and to connect with researchers, clinicians, engineers, and innovators pushing the boundaries of biomedical 3D technologies.

🤝✨ A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to meet Ioanna and Alessia during the poster sessions!

🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟

We are proud to share that and will be presenting our latest research at IC3DTH – The International Conference on 3D Technologies in Hospitals - https://www.m3dit.org/m3dit-2025/ , taking place in Vienna on 28-29/11/2025.

🎤 They will showcase our poster on:

🔬 “Development of a Domain-Specific Language Model for Bioprocessing and Bone Tissue Engineering”

This achievement is a key outcome of the OSTEONET 🇪🇺 Marie-Curie Staff Exchange project (https://osteonethorizon.com/), which aims to advance 3D in vitro bone tissue models and accelerate innovation in bone disease research. This is a collaborative work of researchers from InSyBio, 7HC, Industrial Systems Institute / Research Centre ATHENA and Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche.

💡Our domain-specific language model represents a step forward in integrating AI, bioprocessing, and tissue engineering, enabling smoother data flow, improved reproducibility, stronger collaboration between computational and experimental teams, and presenting improved and better-supported bioengineering support compared to general-purpose LLM models (ChatGPT and Gemini).

We’re incredibly excited to contribute to the growing ecosystem of AI-enhanced biomedical engineering and to share this vision with the inspiring community at IC3DTH.

Looking forward to connecting with fellow researchers, clinicians, engineers, and innovators! 🤝✨

👋 Hello, and community!🚀InSyBio Suite Version 3.4 is here!

We’re excited to announce a major upgrade to InSyBio Interact, our advanced tool for protein analysis, protein–protein interaction ( ) exploration, functional annotation, and biological network creation.

With v3.4, researchers can:

🧬Access over 2 million positive and negative PPIs, including the complete interactomes of taste receptors and bone degeneration–related proteins from projects.

🧬Filter interactions using confidence and affinity thresholds and explore 75 computationally derived features with cross-references to major Databases.

🧬Perform in-depth protein analysis, retrieving structural, functional, and regulatory data (GO terms, miRNAs, and interaction partners).

🧬Discover computationally predicted protein complexes via the updated EEMC algorithm, with functional annotations and interactive visualization.

🧬Create and explore custom PPI datasets and full biological networks, all compatible with our interactive module.

💡 Why it matters: InSyBio Interact v3.4 unites high-accuracy PPI prediction, protein exploration, and network biology in a single, user-friendly platform. Researchers can move seamlessly from analyzing a single protein to mapping its role in complex , without the need for any coding expertise.

There are numerous available plans for patients and the is still rising in USA and EU.

Learn how can help in selecting the most suitable pain alleviation formulation or patch in this 6-minute demonstration of InSyBio's platform for patients.

The proposed solution:
--> Offers a solution for patients and clinicians, allowing personalised recommendations for pain relief by completing a simplified questionnaire in less than 10 minutes.
--> Delivers a solution tested in more than 1500 chronic patients and supported by a series of scientific manuscripts
--> Supports popular and trusted pain alleviation patches (eg, Salonpas and Kailo Patch)
--> 98.1% of the tested participants who were classified as responders to non-opioid treatments presented substantial improvement in all pain metrics after 3-6 months.
--> Allows continuous monitoring of patients and on-the-fly modification of pain alleviation formulation by pain management clinicians
