This semester, we had the opportunity to work alongside two incredible interns, Salma Medina Pow and Sophie Webster. Their creativity, professionalism and energy made a lasting impact on our team, and we’re excited to see what’s ahead for both of them.

Salma is heading into her senior year at UT Austin, where she will serve as President of Texas PRSSA and continue supporting students through Texas Student Media, while growing her experience in public relations and communications.

Sophie is spending the summer traveling before returning to UT Austin this fall as Co-Chair of Camp Texas and joining the Texas Media and Analytics program during her senior year.

We’re grateful for the time, talent and perspective they brought to ECPR Texas, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish next.

We are honored to be recognized on the national stage!

Selected from more than 900 entries, ECPR Texas was named the 2026 Social Impact Agency of the Year and received a Certificate of Excellence in Crisis and Issues Engagement at the Innovation SABRE Awards North America.

The recognition highlights our work supporting the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, and reinforces the critical role communications plays in helping communities recover, rebuild and move forward.

Our team was honored earlier this week in New York alongside some of the industry’s leading communications professionals.

Great conversations happen when the right people come to the table.

This week, at the Corporate Funders Forum, our CEO Kristin Marcum led a powerful discussion on what it really takes to build meaningful corporate and nonprofit partnerships. From aligning values to measuring impact, the conversation centered on how collaboration can move communities forward in real ways.

We were proud to be part of a room filled with leaders in corporate philanthropy, alongside partners from AFP Greater Austin, the Mayor’s Corporate Engagement Council and the Austin Chamber of Commerce.

This is what it looks like when strategy meets trust and when partnerships turn into progress.

Civic engagement starts long before Election Day.

It starts with clear information, thoughtful dialogue and leaders willing to step into the arena.

Builders TX is helping elevate conversations around Texas primaries and voter participation, creating space for communities to better understand the process and why it matters.

At ECPR Texas, we work behind the scenes to ensure conversations like these reach the audiences who need them most.

That’s why ECPR Texas is launching a one-day Communications Lab designed to equip communicators, nonprofit professionals, executives and solo practitioners with the tools to lead public conversations, navigate high-stakes moments and build trust in today’s evolving media landscape.

From media training and crisis communications to digital strategy and writing for today’s press and public platforms, this hands-on training reflects the realities of modern PR where earned media, digital storytelling and values-based visibility all matter.

We’re still buzzing from this moment.

Proud to have sponsored the Austin Chamber of Commerce 2026 Annual Meeting luncheon and to stand alongside leaders shaping Austin’s future through action and partnership.

We were especially honored to see our own Nico Ramsey recognized as a Volunteer of the Year. Nico’s commitment to service, leadership and showing up for this community reflects what civic impact looks like when advocacy meets action.

Congratulations, Nico. We’re grateful to celebrate you and proud to support the people and institutions doing the work that moves Austin forward.
