The closest five people you consistently surround yourself with will shape your future. For many, if not most, professionals, work becomes a primary source of social interaction, which limits the depth of our work friendships ( deal friends) due to competition, mobility, and the transient nature of modern work environments.

We need less deal friends and more real friends. They will be the ones who provide love, joy, and wisdom and have a profound impact on how we navigate life.
