Hire for the list as written and the typing moves off your plate. The thinking doesn't.

Four questions worth asking about anything on your delegation list.

Who notices first if it goes wrong, you or a client? Does it mean choosing between two reasonable options? Would you be uncomfortable if it went out exactly as someone else wrote it? Do you handle it differently depending on who it's for?

Four yeses doesn't mean keep it. It means hand it to someone who can make those calls.

A business owner we spoke with called her calendar the Wild West.

Meetings got booked in the order they arrived, so a vendor demo could take the slot a new client should have had. Nobody did anything wrong. Whoever was scheduling had one rule: find an open time.

"Schedule meetings" was on her list. "Know which meetings are worth my time" never was.

A client in leadership consulting and thought leadership is looking for a video and content specialist who takes real creative ownership and isn’t shy about pitching new formats.

You’ll cut podcast clips, edit both polished and humorous video, publish on LinkedIn and Instagram, produce a monthly newsletter in Brevo, and keep WordPress content updated.

Must-haves: existing fluency in a video editor like CapCut or Opus, experience creating content for senior business leaders, and a portfolio showing both professional and looser work, including a short clip cut from a longer video.

No AI-written content, though AI-powered editing tools are fine.
