Hello Western Slope and Delta County. My name is Caleb and I grew up here in Delta, Co. My love for electronics has led me to become very interested in computers and how they work. A couple of years ago a friend gave me a bunch of computers to tear down and experiment with and that's when my journey began. I had already been interested in recycling different things, copper, aluminum, and metal of all sorts, and making a small amount of money selling these things. I have always wanted to turn my hobby into a business so as I started learning about computers I realized there is value in even older computers but through this process I discovered that most electronics recycling centers in our area charge YOU to take your electronics. I put the electronics through a testing process with the intention of being able to repurpose, repair or reuse before recycling becomes necessary. Because of this I can take electronics without charging you a recycling fee, in fact, in some cases, I can even pay YOU for your electronics, especially if they are in working condition and are only a certain age. True, you coule take your electronics to recla metal or another recycling center and they will pay you around .03-.05 cents per pound. Because of what I do with these electronics I can almost always pay more than these recycling centers. Also I have learned how to destroy sensitive data so that no personal data or information will be at risk from your computer hard drives. Please inquire about free pickup.
