It starts as ancient Ozarks bedrock, broken down and carried into creeks (like Bryant Creek!). From there, it's just water and time, years of tumbling and wearing down the rough edges until you're left with smooth, rounded rock. No two pieces exactly alike.

This isn't a quarry that trucks material in from somewhere else. It's our family's land. 🌲

J&R started back in 2014 when John and Silvana Bryan turned their own property in the Missouri Ozarks into a humble quarry, selling aggregate straight off the land to local concrete and landscaping companies. That same land is still where every bag starts today.

Because it's ours, we can control the whole process: caring for the property, keeping our operation clean and compliant, and making sure what comes off this land looks as good as the Ozarks itself. Less dust, more color, more character.
