I completed a total of nine fire hose flags over the past two months. Two went to individual firefighters, the black framed one for the Minnesota State Fire Department Association (MSFDA) and six were made for Maple Grove Fire Department.

I served a little over 20 years on my local volunteer fire department and 12 years on the MSFDA board with two terms as president. The flag was given away to an attendee at the recent MSFDA annual conference.

Maple Grove FD recently celebrated 50 years as a department. One flag will go to each of their five stations and one will hang at headquarters. I inlayed a wooden disc with my info in each flag :)

Completed a pair of flags made with retired fire hose. One went to a local retired firefighter and the other was used at the recent Minnesota State Fire Department Association’s 147th Firefighter Conference and School. I retired as president of the association after 3 1/2 years. The flag was used for many pictures and was given away to a lucky firefighter in attendance.

Made a frame out of some 7/4 white oak I’ve had a long time for our new parish sign.

Built a crib from solid cherry for a couple, one parent uses a wheelchair. The front slides open with a pair of 48” slides. The crib stands 64 1/2” tall and is heavy 😉

Finished on a rustic dresser, nightstand and end table for my daughter and son in law.
The dresser is 6’ long, 24” deep and 44” tall- solid wood, it’s a heavy one!

Next up is a cherry crib with the front that slides to the side.

Today we sent out a couple solid oak chests of drawers for a local family. They are 50” tall x 36” wide.

Built an arbor for a gal who gave it to her mom for Mother’s Day. Looks great in her flower garden!

A couple projects that recently went out the door.
The County shaped plaque is about 14” long and made from hard maple.
The child’s bench was redone with white oak.
The customer was extremely happy with both items!

Made a solid cherry file cabinet for my better half.
We’ll have it on display at the Made in Minnesota event in St Cloud on Saturday.

Got the base done for our Twins World Series pub table.
We’ll have this and other items at the Made in Minnesota event next Saturday at Rivers Edge Convention Center in St Cloud. It’s open from 10-4 and admission is free!
