What all of these "activists" and "protesters" are not grasping, is that they are protesting the greatest country on earth for the freedoms that they already have, because of the MYTH of systemic racism by the Police. I wonder how they think this "protesting" would go in most of Africa, Asia, South America, and even parts of Europe? Yes, there are bad Police Officers. Less than one half of one percent of the 800,000+ Officers currently employed. And to punish these Officers who continue to do their jobs flawlessly, they want to defund them? So they think that the Police are undertrained, especially in the area of racial profiling. But they want to take away the money that funds the training that they feel Officers need. That is the most moronic thing I think I have ever heard. So now we have good Officers with decades of training, that have never tarnished the badge, walking away from their careers. At the same time, we are at an all time low for law enforcement recruiting (who in their right mind would want to get into this career field right now?). So the new Officers chosen are not going to be of the same quality of the ones leaving (as standardswill need to be lowered just to get peoplehired), and they are not going to be as well trained or paid (thanks to defunding). Oh, and this trend of anarchy will likely continue as well. Then at some point the federal government will have to step in and reestablish control. And there you have it...the Police State they think they are currently protesting against!
