Someone once said if you take care of someone with dementia you lose them more and more everyday. When they get the diagnosis, when they go through different stages, when they need treatment and when they pass away. This is called "ambigous loss".
There will be people who will scroll past this post because Dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has battled or is still battling dementia.

A special thank you to everyone dealing with this or has dealt with this. Alzheimer Awareness Week! 💜💜

Let's all remember ALL THOSE that are working to protect our great country, states, cities and small towns on days like today! While we are enjoying our family and friends and no longer getting called out to stop the fights, the drunk and disorderlies or the cars off the road, REMEMBER WE ALL DID THIS! Maybe not as long ago as others but just be THANKFUL OTHERS ARE NOW DOING WHAT WE LOVED TO DO. SHARE some wisdom and stories with them as we thank them for now protecting us! THANK YOU EVERYONE

HEY THERE EVERYONE, as we near the end of another year may be time to check and see if you still have enough shoulder patches for your uniforms? Or, have you decided to join in on the VELCRO PATCH CRAZE? EITHER WAY, think about your other patches at same time.... SERGEANT, CORPORAL, MASTER OFFICER, FTO and even HASH MARKS. Save that head ache about matching colors or velcro versions and just call us. We think of all these things and we stock a lot of chevrons and hash mark, service stripes and even MALTESE CROSS versions for FIRE FIGHTERS in different colors already! Check us out.
