An OSHA fact for you today, a controlled access zone is only good for heights up to 30ft above a landing surface, beyond that you must be tied off. So remember this rule next time you want to do a controlled access zone so you don't get fined. Learn something new everyday!

Here is a rare photo of a hydraulic hose with Chicago fitting on it. A regular Chicago fitting does not meet OSHA standards, unless it has the addition metal pin or piece of wire. Please remember all you GC's out there to have a metal pin or wire when using a Chicago Fitting.
