Our brother in blue, Police Officer Jonathan Diller, was shot and killed in the line of duty yesterday. His life was cut short at just 31 years old by a career criminal with nothing to lose. Today we grieve with Jonathan's family, his friends, and his coworkers.

Police Officer Jonathan Diller gave his life to protect others. His life and his sacrifice will never be forgotten. May his soul R.I.P.

On 11/4/2016, Sgt. Paul J. Tuozzolo, 41, assigned to the 43 Precinct, was shot and killed while responding to a domestic dispute. Also shot and injured was Sgt. Emanuel Kwo. On the anniversaries of Pauls untimely death, RIG remembers him and all members of the service who lost their lives as a result of the performance of their duties. These gallant officers made the ultimate sacrifice, and we owe them a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid. May they Rest In Peace.
