A house pad we have worked on recently ready for the plumbers to come in and do their job. We built the pad, dug the footings, backfilled and got the gravel up to subgrade. Next steps are water and sewer when that are ready.

Hard to tell by the pics, but this ridge had a 4-6ft drop off and was farmed around for years. Little ground adjustment with a dozer and now they can easily farm right over it vs around it. Eliminated the bushes and about 6 rock piles

When your 7 yr old says he wants to go to work with dad for the day, you take the opportunity to take him and teach him. He could have stayed home to play with his Christmas toys but decided running a skidloader all day by himself would be more fun! That’s our future generation! Teach them young! Water would run in this building every rain, we cut it down 12” below the floor level and brought it back up 8” of gravel, but also sloped 2 directions from the building. Water in the building won’t be a problem anymore. If you look by the fuel pumps we took almost 2ft of dirt out. Need to get the finishing touches on this yet but water will run away from the building now instead of towards it.
